How it works
Training Content will be located in the In The Zone Dog Training Online School through Teachable and a private facebook group.
In addition to having access to all the classes on the site, throughout the month additional training will be provided. I videotape 99% of all my training sessions and continually share them in the school and on facebook. I use a variety of video techniques including voiceovers, screen casting, slow motion and photos of sequences to discuss training and handling..the good and the bad I show you what I did correct and what I did wrong and how to troubleshoot. I discuss what, when and where to cue your dog. You can videotape your training sessions and upload them and I will critique them. I will also use various techniques such as doing screen shots for feedback . The videos will help me review your cues-body language, motion, verbal and see if they are clear and consistent. Watching your videos allows me to see what is occurring during the training session and will allow me to coach you and provide important feedback. Also, throughout the month, I will perform a course analysis of some of my bonus runs. I will go over why I chose to handle like I did, what went right, what went wrong and my overall thoughts about the course and my handling. As a student, you also can post some of your bonus runs and I will provide feedback.
This is an exciting time as you can see how I (trained) am training Emmy and Zoomy (mixed breed rescues COVID pups) from the start. The puppy class has extensive videos of all the training I did with Emmy and Zoomy as pups and now teaching agility skills with them. Emmy has just started trialing and she is very nervous trialing so you will get to see how I train and handle her to help her develop into a confident, happy agility dog.
